At Groundhog Fence Company, a DBA of DC Fence Repair LLC, we stand behind our work—plain and simple.
We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on all new fence installations. This warranty covers defects that result directly from how the fence was built or installed.
Why five years? Because workmanship issues don’t hide forever. If something was built incorrectly, it will almost always show itself within that timeframe—through normal use, weather, and seasonal movement. Longer warranty terms may sound impressive, but they often rely more on marketing than meaningful follow-through. We prefer to be realistic, transparent, and accountable.
What This Warranty Means
If a problem arises due to workmanship during the warranty period, we will assess it and make it right. No fine print games. No disappearing acts. Just responsibility.
That said, we believe something important:
A true warranty lives in the work itself.
We don’t build fences hoping the warranty never gets tested—we build them with the confidence that they’re designed and installed to stand up to time, weather, and real-world conditions. The warranty exists as a safeguard, not a substitute for quality.
What This Warranty Covers
Installation-related issues
Structural problems caused by improper construction or fastening
Errors in post setting, alignment, or assembly
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
Normal wood movement (warping, checking, or minor cracking)
Natural aging, weathering, or cosmetic changes
Damage from misuse, impact, ground movement beyond normal settling, or acts of nature
Repairs or modifications performed by others
Our Philosophy
We don’t rely on exaggerated promises to earn trust. We earn it by building fences we’re proud to put our name on—and by standing behind them when it matters.
If something does go wrong due to workmanship, we want to hear about it. If everything goes right (as it should), your fence should quietly do its job for years to come.
